Golf Shot Calculator

Who we are

Golf Shot Calculator is a free yardage app from WGT DingMaster. It tells you how far you are from the spot you mark. It does not need a golf course database. The planet is the course.

Location

The app uses your phone’s GPS so it can measure yards from where you are standing to the spot you drag. That location is used on your phone to draw the map and the yardage. We do not sell your location.

What stays on your phone

Your name, the ball you play, and the club distances you save stay on your phone. Clearing the app’s storage removes them. You do not need an account.

Elevation and wind

If you turn elevation or wind on, the app asks a weather service for the hill and the wind at your spot so it can show a plays-like number. If you leave those off, it does not ask.

The free app shows one advertiser at a time, in the yardage box. Tap the ad to visit that site. Tap X and the yards come back for one minute. The ads are the website addresses listed at the bottom of this page. The app reads this page, then fits each homepage into the box. Adding an address here adds an ad. No app update is required.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
